Titanic Hotel, Liverpool

Titanic Hotel, Liverpool

Once the heart and soul of the thriving Port of Liverpool, the Titanic Hotel now serves as one of the most luxurious hotels the city has to offer. As the multi-million-pound renovation of the famous Stanley Dock, the Titanic Hotel has been converted into a luxury four-star hotel, which boasts a luxury spa and an exclusive rum bar.

History

Situated at the historic site of Stanley Dock, the Titanic Hotel keeps many of the original bricks and iron features that were once there. Opening back in 1848, Stanley Dock was once home to several Tobacco and Rum Warehouses and was, in fact, a busy hub for international trade.

The Titanic Hotel’s waterside terrace overlooks the dock to an original Pumping Station and the enormous Tobacco Warehouse, which was the largest brick building in the work when it was built in the 1900s.

Steeping in history, guests at the Titanic Hotel will feel very much part of Liverpool’s history by staying at the Liverpool Docks, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Rooms

The 153 rooms available at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool are truly extraordinary. Due to the sheer size of the original warehouse building, the Titanic Hotel offers ‘standard-size’ rooms, which are actually twice the size of any standard UK four-star room. Every window in the hotel’s rooms retains the original windows of the warehouse building, which overlooks the historic Port of Liverpool.

Featuring drawings and photographs of the old ships at the Port, alongside rich and earthy furnishings, the Titanic Hotel is sure to take you back in time whilst providing a contemporary feel. The soothing colour theme coupled with sumptuous bedding and plump pillows ensure that you will have a good nights rest.

Offering panoramic views over the entire historic Stanley Dock area and across the River Mersey, the Superior Corner Room will make it hard for guests to leave. Guests will find themselves sinking into a superior deluxe double bed with fresh Egyptian cotton bed linen after enjoying a drench shower or soaking in an indulgent bath.

Rum Warehouse

The perfect setting for any event, the Rum Warehouse is a truly unique venue. Attached to the Titanic Hotel, the Rum Warehouse can cater for up to 600 guests for dinner service and 1,000 theatre-style. Spread across two levels, the Rum Warehouse is now one of the most prominent event spaces not only in Liverpool but also across the world.

With floor to ceiling glazing, a selection of exquisite boardrooms and state of the art equipment, it is understandable why companies such as Heineken and Bentley are reoccurring clients at the Rum Warehouse.

Rum Bar

In line with the rum theme, the Titanic Hotel is home to the unique Rum Bar, which serves as a hub for the hotel’s guests and also for the people of Liverpool. The Rum Menu allows guests to travel through the world’s most exotic destinations and enjoy the best rums around. With stylish interiors and exclusive ‘pop-up’ events, the Rum Bar is definitely Liverpool’s new hideout.

Guests can take advantage of the Titanic Hotel’s first-class facilities as well as rejuvenate in the Maya Blue Wellness Spa. Offering much more than just a hotel, the Titanic Hotel is an outstanding location for any visitor in Liverpool. What more could anyone want?
