Carly Taylor, of von Essen’s Ston Easton Park Hotel, Wins Front of House Manager of the Year at the Hotel Cateys 2008 Posted on 10/11/2008
Last Friday at the glittering Hotel Cateys Award Ceremony, Carly Taylor of von Essen’s Ston Easton Park Hotel, beat stiff competition to win Front of House Manager of the Year.
The awards, organised by Caterer and Hotelkeeper Magazine, were launched alongside sister awards the Cateys last year. They are intended to allow hoteliers to celebrate the achievements of their staff and give them industry-wide recognition. The Hotel Cateys recognises and reward the hotel industries unsung heroes.
Carly Taylor has been employed in the role of Front of House Manager at Ston Easton Park since February 2005. She is responsible for the reception and reservations function of the hotel and is an active member of the duty management team.
von Essen’s executive director of sales and marketing, Greg Ward commented: “It is great news that Carly has won this prestigous award and it is clear that she has a great passion for the hotel industry. There is no question that Carly is an excellent role model for young people joining the industry and we look forward to seeing her achieve great things in the future.“
